Abstract

Malaria(1) may cause fatal complications such as black water fever. It is usually seen in severe malaria due to plasmodium falciparum or people living in endemic areas or in G6PD deficient individuals.(2,3) The exact pathophysiology behind black water fever is still unknown(4). A timely diagnosis and treatment is the key to success.
