Abstract

The treated endodontic teeth are usually much brittle, because of the loss of structural integrity which is associated with the accessibility of preparation. However, the presence of ferrule has positive impacts on the process of resisting fracture of molar teeth that have undergone endodontic treatment. Therefore, since the endodontic treated teeth have brittleness, planning for treatment will thus be determined by some factors such as tooth structure as well as the functional demands.
