Abstract

Nerve transfers are indicated in brachial plexus injury involving a nerve root avulsion or rupture. Any technique to decrease the regeneration distance between viable motor axons and the motor nerve innervation, the speed reinnervation. Close Target Neurotization which involves selective transfer of a donor motor nerve to site of muscle insertion can be an optimum solution for this problem.
