Calcifying aponeurotic fibroma is a rare, benign fibroblastic tumour. The lesion has a propensity for local invasion and a high recurrent rate. Therefore, accurate preoperative diagnosis and complete excision are important to prevent the recurrence of the tumour after surgical removal.
